My name is Abby Hall, and I am a writer. If you managed to get to this website, you probably already know that. Nearly a year ago, I graduated from Hollins University (Go Squirrels! Just kidding; we don’t have a mascot) with a HIGHLY USEFUL and INSPIRING degree in English. Yay!

Before my time in college, I was already writing. My first novel was self-published in the fall of 2015, and I’ve nearly finished the second installment of that series just this year. Happenstance was–and is–my pride and joy, but the trouble and turmoil created by the recent pandemic of COVID-19 brought to my attention that I am taking things way too slowly. I’m in the prime of my life! I need to type while my fingers can still move! Thus, Abby Hall Writes was born.

Writing comes as naturally to me as rodeo to a cowboy (that said, it takes a lot of practice even if I’m committed), but website-ing does not. This will be a learning process for me, and I’m sure many changes will be made to this website and anything else I have to offer over the next few years. Hopefully, something good will come of it.
